Our new toy!?

Tonight we had severe thunderstorms complete with hail, thunder, lightening, rain and high winds. I was home alone trying to make dinner while Matthew and Kevin went to get a few things from the grocery store. The lights were flickering and the scary voice from the TV was saying get to interior room so I did. When I am came out, this was in our backyard! Yeah, SO not ours! A positive note, we have a very nice neighbor named Scott who plans to come get it shortly! GOTTA LOVE INDIANA. For the record, I hate these dang things. Oh and it broke two panels on our fence. I think we have bad house karma. I need to figure out how to get good house karma before this place starts costing more then we bargained for...

Since I am actually at my home computer writing for once here are some other photos as well - we were teaching Matthew to make faces!

Here is Matthew napping over the weekend - I could not resist. I wish I could sleep so soundly!

Classic Easter morning shot - note lovely Lucy checking out the eggs...

And one last one for the road - Easter morning happiness :)

I think I would have had to change my diaper if I found a trampoline in my backyard! Crazy midwesteners! And Matthew is so adorable :) I just want to dig out those cheeks with a spoon and call it dessert!

Yeah, no shit, eh? I was really mortified at first then I just laughed my ass off. I was like 'OMG are freaking kidding me?!' All this after looking at the list prices for homes online in Almaden that morning. Do you know those crappy little townhouses I lived in now go for close to $700k?!?! I about fell over... Was it really that costly to live there when we young? Because I so do not remember it that way...

You would be shocked to know how much our house finally sold for. And sidenote - isnt your mom from Amsterdam? Ester & Yannick live there!
