He SHALL be Picasso OR a Contractor?!

You decide.

Matthew stayed home from school yesterday with his Daddy. Might I note at this moment that my husband (whom I love dearly and think the world of and seriously is my best friend) is a penny pincher, tight wad, watching every dollar that I spend giving me dirty looks with each new purchase I gleefully bring home because I can dammit it the reason I work kind of person.

Yesterday, he and Matthew went to the doctor - another ear infection. Just a little one but you know, enough to make him feel like crapola. SO I pull up after a hard day of work and the boys are pulling up too. Hmm, I wonder to myself: what did they do - park? library? driving around looking for diggers and mixers and dump trucks, oh my!? Nope. Target. Target ate my husband and spit him out with a lot less money then he started with!

I needed a second 9" cake pan to make this cake I want to make so they bought that. Matthew got a roller - yeah you know like a construction roller sort of like this one but near as fancy, and it is plastic and it makes these obnoxious construction sounds... to complete his collection of construction vehicles...

AND he bought Matthew THIS... OMG I almost pooped my pants when he opened the trunk to reveal this thing of beauty to me and Matthew was gleefully yelling "open it Daddy open it" It was like flipping Christmas in July at our house last night!

Ha, see it is not just me that Target does this to - it can take the most even keeled cheap skate and turn them into a money spending fool.

Gawd, I am SO excited about that easel... we rearranged downstairs and holy shit if our basement has not officially become a play zone with a fire place. We just need to build an indoor gym complete with fire pole from the first to second floor and a giant train a la Silver Spoons and it will be kid heaven. Don't you just love my overactive imagination!? Ah, if only I could harness that imagination and use it for something good...

Damn Picasso I tell you... and if not well hopefully the house market picks up in the next 20 years or so...

ha, I will try to get photos. I never take any of the house because it is usually a disaster zone - hoping that will change once we can nail down a house cleaner...
