What is black and gray and new all over?!

Our new vehicle!! I was going to TRY to take a photo over the weekend but laziness OR exhaustion and that ugly headache thing + toddler madness won out so no PHOTO FOR YOU. Another day, another day...

We turned in the Corolla for brand spanking new 2008 Toyota RAV4. Thus leaving the poor Camry to shiver out on the drive way, the forgotten "good" car.

I have to admit I drove the Corolla to the dealership so I could have one last drive in her and seriously shed a tear. Mostly I shed a tear because the car was bought and paid for by my now deceased Granny. It sort of felt like it was my last little piece of her that was a solid object. Something that was given to me in order to help me out in a great time of need (see the scary Tempo story.) Plus it was MY car, that I had before I met Kevin and was married and had a baby. SO I cried, I admit to being a Cheesy McCheese ball like that. I think Larry the car dealer dude told me the Corolla was going to greener pastures (bastard) that was after he told my precious little car was death trap... I shudder to think what any of that means. To me it will always be tan and cute and little and speeding down the highway!

On to BIGGER and better things - there is little bad that I can say about the new car! It is lovely and smells all new and it kicks ass. In as few words as possible 'I like it, I like it a lllllllot!'

New car smell is one of my favorites!

Awesome! Congrats on the new car! How funny that the Camry is now banished to sleep outside! We joke that our cars freak out if they're left outside overnight...almost as if they are being punished!

Ooo, congrats! It is sad to get rid of the old cars. I may have shed a tear over my shitty car too.

Yay for new cars! We looked at the Rav4 when we were looking but settled on the Matrix. I still have my heart set on the Rav4 someday, though!

Oh my colleague just bought a Matrix and loves it! She said the size difference between the two in terms of cargo was barely noticeable.
