Last Lecture, Dreams, and To Do Lists

Did you ever hear the last lecture by Randy Pausch? If not, you should look it up and listen or print it off and read it or buy the book that came out recently. It is excellent. At any rate, I was sad to see this link. Truly a wonderful person with a wonderful spirit - if you watch, read or learn about it - I hope you gain as much as I did from it.

I had the worst dream last night. It was an epic nightmare that I could not get myself to wake up from until it was my turn to be murdered by having my head twisted off?! It was a freakishly realistic dream and not one that I want to have again, EVER. I woke up with my heart pounding, my body sweating and I seriously was paralyzed with fear that it might some how NOT be a dream but real life. AND I was scared to fall back to sleep because some little part of me kept thinking what if I end up back in that dream like it was some Freddy Krueger thing. Needless to say I am slightly exhausted today. Hormones BE GONE!

Weekend plans include:
Dinner and movie (Wall-E) with my two favorite boys on earth tonight
Brownies and girlie time afterward
Blueberry pancakes for breakfast on Saturday morning
A visit to Target because it is what I do on Saturdays
A pedicure on Saturday afternoon
Dinner with friends on Saturday evening
Going for some walks & SLEEPING
Making some chocolate chip cookies
Maybe a trip to the park with M
Relaxing and enjoying life as it is because it will change VERY soon
Having a baby!?!? (a girl can try to add this to the TO DO this, you know?!)

Hope your weekend is as exciting and fun as I am proposing mine to be!

Your weekend plans sound fantastic! (I love that you added "having a baby" to your list - hee!)

That nightmare sounds horrible. Hope you get some good sleep tonight!

I haven't heard the whole "Last Lecture", but I saw it featured on Primetime and I was intriqued. Sad news about the professor. He seemed like a really neat guy.
